1. Granite curbstones must be packaged according to proper standards. Due to their high density, manufacturers are required to pack them on wooden pallets and secure them with strapping bands applied at least twice in each direction. For long-distance transport, vertical bracing using bamboo strips at the four corners should also be considered to prevent chipping or breakage caused by collisions resulting from vehicle vibrations or bumps.
2. Granite curbstones must undergo quality inspection before leaving the factory; a certificate of conformity is issued upon passing. Once the curbstones arrive at the construction site, the client's material inspector must conduct spot checks in accordance with contract specifications and collect the quality certificate and inspection report. Upon successful inspection, a delivery receipt is issued to the manufacturer.
3. During truck transport, drivers must be instructed to secure the packaged curbstones with additional binding ropes. The vehicle must be driven smoothly, and sudden braking is strictly prohibited.
4. Upon arrival at the site, a 3-ton forklift should be used for unloading. Unloading points must be close to the installation locations, with the stones spaced out to eliminate the need for secondary handling. The unloading surface must be level to ensure stability and prevent the curbstones from toppling over; safety warning signs should be placed nearby, and the delivered curbstones should be installed promptly.
