Granite processed using this method reveals the stone's true nature, characterized by a rustic, rugged, and highly natural aesthetic.
Granite is an intrusive igneous rock formed by the cooling and crystallization of underground magma as it rises. It features a visible crystalline structure and texture. It is composed of feldspar (typically potassium feldspar and oligoclase), quartz, mica (biotite or muscovite), and trace minerals such as zircon, apatite, magnetite, ilmenite, and titanite. Granite is classified as an acidic igneous rock (with a silica content exceeding 65%). Typically, granite appears whitish or gray with a speckled look due to the presence of dark minerals; the inclusion of potassium feldspar can give it a red or flesh-colored hue. Granite forms through the slow cooling and crystallization of magma deep beneath the Earth's surface; when the cooling process is exceptionally slow, it results in a granite with a very coarse texture, known as crystalline granite.
