Compared with untreated rough blocks, they have a more regular geometric shape and are prepared closer to the required dimensions for the next processing stage.

 

Common dimensions range from 1000–8000 × 600–1800 × 500–1500 mm and can be customized according to the final product. The main surface is a sawn finish, and the typical dimensional tolerance is approximately ±5–20 mm depending on block size and processing requirements. Natural granite density is approximately 2.60–2.80 g/cm³.

 

Initial cutting reduces the amount of squaring, edge trimming, and shape correction required after the blocks arrive at the buyer's factory.

The sawn surface makes the internal granite crystals, mineral distribution, and natural texture easier to observe. It also provides a more regular reference surface for positioning, measurement, and subsequent cutting.
